Privacy Policy

Information you provide: Email address, name, age range, position, competitive level, equipment access, training schedule, parent/guardian contact information (for users under 14), and athlete profile data used for recruiting emails (stats, GPA, club team, highlight video URL).

Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account information on our servers.

Usage data: Pages visited, sessions completed, XP earned, outreach emails sent, and coach engagement data (opens, clicks). We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymized website analytics and Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring.

AI interaction data: When you use the recruiting email generator or Game Day AI, your inputs are sent to Anthropic (Claude) for processing. We do not store AI conversation logs beyond the generated output.

We take children’s privacy seriously. For users under 13:

• Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
• We collect only the minimum data necessary: child’s first name, age range, position, and training progress.
• We do not collect: the child’s email address, precise location, photos, videos, or social media information.
• We do not display advertising to children or share children’s data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Parents can review, modify, or delete their child’s data at any time by emailing [email protected].
• Parents can refuse further collection of their child’s data, which may require closing the account.

We use your information to:

• Deliver purchased programs and personalize training content based on your intake profile
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, magic login links, session reminders)
• Generate personalized recruiting emails through our AI system
• Track your training progress, XP, and streaks
• Provide parent dashboard access for guardian accounts
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Communicate product updates (you can opt out at any time)

We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Stripe — Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Vercel — Website hosting and edge functions
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI email generation and Game Day AI
• Google Analytics 4 — Anonymized website analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

When you send recruiting emails through our platform, we embed a 1x1 tracking pixel to detect when a coach opens the email, and we wrap highlight links to detect clicks. This data is used solely to provide you with engagement metrics (open count, click count, engagement score). Coach email addresses and tracking data are never shared with other users.

We retain your account and training data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you resubscribe, after which it is deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data and account
• Export your training data
• Opt out of marketing emails
• Withdraw consent for data processing (which may require closing your account)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We use industry-standard security measures including: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure magic-link authentication (no passwords stored), PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe, database-level row security policies in Supabase, and environment variable encryption for all API keys.

Ascend is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last updated.
